Storytime with Sylvie

How cute is this?! All those years ago in Grandma & Grandpa America‘s living room. I love the interplay between you and Curtis. He always had that adoring look of mischief when you were leading him.

Washington or French Canada?

9 April 2018 — Sylvie, me, & Curtis in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC outside my old house on 12th Street, NE.

Another possibility is to travel down to Washington D.C. to see the museums. You might not remember too much of our trip there. I thought if we go in the summer however, we could go to French-speaking CanadaMontreal, Ottawa, the St. Lawrence River area above New England

Grandma & Papa America

19 April 2018 — Papa & Grandma America with their two grandkids from Australia. Churchville, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

You’re two grandparents ask about you every time I talk to them. Grandma America replays your Seussical videos on a near-weekly basis. All the Ottingers back in America want to know how you’re doing, what you’re up to these days. No one more so than me.

Happiest Place on Earth

27 March 2018 — On my 46th birthday, my kids made me wear this shirt at Disneyland in California. Loved it.:)

I took Curtis to San Francisco. That’s one great city to fly direct from Melbourne into. Another way is through Dallas. Wanna get a cowboy hat and see Texas. But I still think our time spent in Los Angeles was the best; and that’s the third city we can fly into.

We can tour some of the stars homes. Rent a car and drive up the coast to see the beaches along the Pacific Coast Highway. Go camping in Sequoia or Joshua Tree National Parks?

What do you think, Sylvie? We can start by hanging out together, with Curtis. Then do one of those country Victoria road trips where we pick a town and spend the afternoon bumbling about.

It’s been almost two years since I’ve seen you. I’d like to hear your voice again…x
